Chapter 18
When they got up to the hotel room, Jenna stalked through all the rooms, checking carefully, then came back to where he stood by the door, stripping her top off as she spoke. "Nothing's been messed with; we're good."
AJ eyed the cleavage before him as she struggled to get her shirt off, and smiled. "You're very good."
He stepped forward, catching her fashionable top. Pulling it off her head and arms, he tossed it in a corner and distracted her by holding her tight while he took care of her corset. No brandy was as fine as that little moan of pleasure that always came with the first deep breath after her ribs were freed, and he nearly lost the intended order of operations.
He wanted to kiss her, very badly, but... "Shower. Now. I want every speck of dust washed off you." Getting her decontaminated was more important than anything else, no matter what certain parts of his body were voting.
She smiled, and he kept her from kissing him and potentially ingesting any radioactive material with a swat on her ass. She jumped, yelped, and laughed as she walked away with a sway to her hips that enticed him to follow. "You, too! I'm not risking my favorite bits."
He shed clothes and tools as she started the shower, and joined her as it reached the scalding temperature she preferred. As she basked in the hot water, he soaped up, then plucked the shampoo off the edge of the tub, and started working the herbal concoction into her scalp. He was used to using basic soap to get everything clean, but hair as long as hers took a separate dedicated process with picky mixtures and application times to look and feel that good. She always made the most delightful moans and melted into him as he massaged her head and neck. He let his hands communicate how much he loved her, how precious she was, in a way that words always failed him.
As he worked more shampoo down the long length to the tips that swirled so gloriously around her ass when she walked, he said softly, "Thank you for trusting me, and following orders this morning."
"Always." She smiled up at him. "I'll give you till the hot water runs out to stop that."
"Hah. No, get going with the washcloth; I'm not showering in cold water if I don't have to. Minx." He tugged her hair, and the noise she made sorely tried his self-control. "Let me have the water to rinse off, and I'll scrub your back when I'm done."
"Oh, twist my arm." She stuck her tongue out, even as she was already moving against him, around him to the back of the tub.
"Not yet. Have to call Crane first."
"Ah, damn. Right. And then later call Twitch and Lizzes, so she can glee at us in sixteen syllable geological terms. She was telling me about the geothermal and mineral potential of this mountain chain, though she completely missed the gold
